Abbie Herbert and her husband Josh have received complaints about the name of their baby. However, it’s not the first time this happen, they have already drawn criticism for the name of their one-year-old daughter.
According to this article, although her legal name is Poppy, the Herbert family, and their 14.5million TikTok followers, call her Poot. Those who disapprove of the Herberts’ parenting choices will be disappointed to learn that the pair plans to keep the naming convention.
In fact, the couple is actively trying for a second kid, and they’ve already decided on a name.
“We have been getting hate for naming our daughter Poot”, Abbie wrote in a video.
The couple’s humorous reveal emerged in the captions of their TikTok video as she and Josh danced in front of the screen with their daughter.
“They have no idea we plan on naming baby number two Tooty Herbert”, the mom revealed.
In the comments sections, critical viewers were immediately dismissive of the name saying that when they grow up people will make fun of them.
Normally Poot and Tooty refer to the sound of farts and the couple stated they have the goal of having 8 children. So, a commenter hilariously suggested calling the others Root and Scoot to keep the rhyme scheme.
Fortunately for them, the Herberts appear undeterred by the criticism, and Abbie even acknowledged that family members frequently address the child by jokingly referring to Poot as “Fart”.
It sounds obvious, but they might as well name the next child Poop.
