In Collier County (Florida), a homeowner hanged a giant roll of toilet paper in his front yard to make fun of the currently rush on toilet paper in the supermarkets during coronavirus.
Donald Ryan, who put it up the roll between two trees, said he did it to make his neighbors laugh during this tough time.
He wanted to tease at the nationwide who buys too many rolls of toilet paper.
People loved the idea, and someone told him to trade ammo for toilet paper. He added he doesn’t have toilet paper himself and doing this he has only three rolls left.
This display is his most unusual tree decoration but it serve as an advertisement for his craft business: Who Wood Wonder.
“I’ve had the pulleys in the trees all along ‘cause I do Christmas decorations up there and Halloween and Easter and all kinds of things, so I just put it to use,” Ryan said.
The supply of toilet paper is still extremely limited in stores across the region and Ryan hopes people can find at least some humor in the situation.
“Of course it’s the most important thing. You got to laugh or you’re going to just drive yourself crazy,” Ryan added.
