Why do cold temperatures make us pee more often?
The answer is in the body’s response to protecting internal organs from low temperature.
Your body needs a constant temperature to be well. So, to ensure that vasoconstriction occurs, namely a narrowing of the blood vessels, especially in the hands and feet area.
So, the stimulus is a consequence of vasoconstriction which increases the blood pressure (hypertension), and it makes your body lower it.
In the summertime, the temperature is regulated by sweat, but in wintertime, kidneys are responsible for filtering the surplus of water in the blood. Then it flows into your bladder, causing the urge to urinate.
